A Mother's Love

Mothers teach in such subtle but powerful ways.

As I read this quote, I think it speaks to the dance not only mothers encounter, but anyone. Think about it; sometimes life and business are working just fine, ya know, and those times feel great—like a warm kiss from our mothers. But then there are times when we must stop and course-correct because mistakes and challenges always seem to find us. If we aren’t careful, we’ll punish ourselves as if we were still a child. 

A mother understands that the delicate balance of both (a kiss “and” correction) are a vital part of growth.

So next time you make a mistake or challenges abound, simply course-correct, and leave the scolding to your mom —after all, she was born to do that part! :)

(Course-correcting means correcting along the way. There's more than one course.  If you’re not course-correcting in business, you’re not taking enough risk.)
